A Message from the Principal

On behalf of the Coorara Primary School community I extend you a warm welcome.

Coorara is a DfE (Department for Education) primary school catering for students from Reception through to year 6. The school is set in beautiful grounds in Morphett Vale, a southern suburb of Adelaide. We share a site and a positive partnership with Coorara Preschool. We cater for around 220 students at our school.

Our school is a welcoming community. We are a small school community, where all members are valued and encouraged to participate fully in the life of the school.  Coorara is a school where children and their learning come first and people make a positive difference. Our school values of respect, honesty, team work, responsibility, caring and trust underpin everything we do at Coorara.

Coorara prides itself on its quality teachers, partnerships with families, excellent facilities and resources, extensive academic, extra curricular and well being programs. The rich learning environment gives our students every opportunity to reach their potential. Coorara offers a well rounded experience for students including a fantastic dance program (Wakakirri), a quality music program, many sporting opportunities, community garden program, healthy lifestyle program and an iPad program.

Our website will give you an overview of the School, however to experience the atmosphere of  Coorara and see our school in action I would invite you to visit the school on a normal school day. You will be able to observe our teaching and learning programs, see first hand our iPad program and see our outstanding facilities.
